gap personnel (operating as an employment business) are currently recruiting for a Machine Operatives, to work the night shift, based in Marsh Barton, Exeter.
Our client is a well-established family run business, who pride themselves on finding the best fit for the team, where you will have the opportunity to undertake great training and continue learning and gaining new skills and knowledge every day.
You will play a crucial role in the production process operating various production machinery, mainly the edge bander.
Experience of machine operating an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.
Shifts are: Sunday – Wednesday 16:00pm – 02:30am but during the training period they will be during the day from 8am – 4.30pm.
£9.50 per hour.
This is a temp - perm position after a successful 12 week period, with an immediate start.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be eager to learn
- Be computer literate
- Have a good standard of English and Math
- Be a clear communicator
- Have good attention to detail and dexterity
- Be proactive, with a can-do attitude
- Have strong team work skills
