gap personnel are looking for an office administrator for a busy building materials importer based in Tilbury.

Working alongside the managers, you will be resposible for ensuring all relevant paperwork / electronic data is filled in correctly and passed on to the correct area. You will always be thinkings of ways to improve the processes and help streamline the business.

The role of office administrators is to oversee warehouse stock,including receiving, issuing, and dispatching stock, and handling communication between freight companies and warehouse customers.

Working hours: 40 hours per week (Initial training 9-5, moving to rotation 6am-2pm/10am-6pm shifts)

Pay rate: £11-12 per hour depending on experience.

  • Allocation of warehouse product and stock movements.
  • Processing all paperwork for relevant departments
  • Dealing with stock issues in the warehouse.
  • Dealing with queries in person and telephone
  • Ensure accurate data recorded onto systems electronically 
  • Be the point of contact for maintenance updates, emailing relevant departments
