Packing operative

Gap Personnel Group, operating as an employment business, are currently looking to recruit several Packing Operatives for one of our well-established client based in Blackburn.

We are looking for a Packing Operatives for our client based in Blackburn. The role will involve working on a production line and candidates will be packing seeds. Candidates will need to be dextrous as it is fast paced.

Contract: Temporary ongoing

Factory Location: Blackburn

Salary: £8.72 per hour

Shifts: 6am – 2.30pm, 1.30pm – 10pm rotating - Temporary ongoing

Main responsibilities:

1. Understanding and attainment of both individual and department targets.
2. Carry out all duties in line with customer specifications and requirements.
3. Co-operate in the continuous improvement of quality, safety and productivity standards.
4. To meet housekeeping and hygiene standards individually and as part of a team.
5. To carry out instructions as given to you by your Team Leader/Management

The successful candidate will have:

1. Good attention to detail.
2. Experience in packing working in fast paced environment
3. Continuous improvement and lean experience.
4. Must be able to communicate in English
