We are hiring for our busy client in Wales Bar in between Sheffield and Rotherham S26, Night shift Parcel Sorters. This is a fast paced, busy environment to work in.

Shifts are 12pm-8pm 

Job purpose: Our Day Loader is responsible for the loading and unloading of vehicles and the sortation and scanning of parcels into cages. This role requires the manual handling of both small and large items and sacks, physical as well as mental agility is needed. 

About the Role: Various hours and shifts are available. You’ll report in to your Shift Supervisor and shift Manager, where you will be part of a shift that processes a large volume of parcels. Depending on which shift and what day, it may be anything from 40,000 to a 100,000 parcels in a shift. But don’t worry you won’t be tackling them alone! You’ll work as part of a team and use some really smart kit to help you sort all those parcels efficiently. This isn’t an easy job and at times you will have to deal with large volumes but then there will be times when the volumes are lighter and you’ll have chance to gain new skills and experience. This position is ideal for someone who wants to grow their career with us and take on more of a leadership role. You must be able to work well in a team and take the lead on your section on your shift. 


• Unload and load parcels from trailers with repetitive handling/lifting of sometimes heavy and large items 

• Comply with Company and Health and Safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment 

• Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team 

• Ensure scanning compliance with accurate use of the hand-held terminal • Keep work area clean and tidy

The client will have the opportunity to offer successful applicants a direct contract after 12 weeks, dependant on experience!!
