Initially this will be for a period of 3 weeks to assist with a backlog of home based assessments/referrals. Then there will be ad hoc sessions in the future.
Competent in taking bloods and undertaking general health assessments ie BMI, urinalysis, and ability to refer as required. A mobile and laptop will be provided as will a full patient list each morning.
This role is working alone in the community with full support from the relevant GP surgeries - all patients are registered and known to the GP surgeries but are unable to attend the GP surgery.
Mileage will be paid at 45p per mile.
Previous experience as a Practice/District/Community Nurse is required. Immediate start available. Fast registration, must hold valid DBS, Indemnity Insurance and provide evidence of competencies.
