Please note, due to the nature of this role, a full UK driving licence and own transport is essential.
Recently establishing a base in the U.K (but having serviced U.K customers from an International base for many years), our client now seeks to appoint two additional Product Managers to take over the responsibility for existing accounts, as well as researching and developing opportunities to expand supply.
The role is predominately focused on managing existing accounts and developing the product ranges within these. It requires a capable and experienced individual to work closely with existing buyers, online partners, distribution channels, a global development team and Far East manufacturers.

Management of New Product Development Projects:
Conceptualising new products suited to the marketplace and/or specific customer accounts, with input from business managers.
Developing detailed product sourcing briefs and then working with an international team bring ideas to life, in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Ongoing Product Range Management:
Maintenance of detailed product specification manual for all items, including issuing to suppliers and ensuring all supplier specifications & pricings are up to date
Sales forecasting for current business.
Ensuring on time delivery for all ongoing products. Including expediting / de-expediting of orders.
Account responsibility for existing UK customer base including at least one leading UK Superstore and one leading UK high street retailer.
Manage and develop strong customer relationships, including timely communication aligned with specific retail calendars.
Schedule, prepare for and attend customer meetings as required, including development of all presentation materials required and presentation of these to the customer.
Track ongoing range performance, review and provide analysis when required
Involvement in business planning for the territory.
Attend product presentations from other territories to gain information on trends, business performance and leverage appropriate developments for your accounts.
Assist in the establishment and maintenance of an online presence.
Undertaking and maintenance of market and competitor reviews on line and in store.
Articulating and quantifying customer problems.
Experience & Skills Sought:
Experience in a similar position within a relevant industry (Health & Beauty, Retail, FMCG, E-Commerce etc)
Ability to analyse commercial viability and financials
Exceptional communication & presentation skills
Strong customer focus and the desicre to build and maintain strong relationships that exceed expectations
High levels of organisation, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise your workload effectively.
Strong computer literacy - Competent in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Gmail.
Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm (Additional hours may be required to meet business needs and applicants should be flexible in regard to travel)
