Production and Manufacturing Operative

How much will I be paid?: £10.82 with the overtime rate being £15.09ph  

What will be my working hours?: (3 on 3 off pattern) 3 x 12 hour shifts working 6.00-18.00 then 3 shifts off  followed by 3  shifts 12 hours nights 18.00-06.00

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:

  • Perform all condition checks on a daily basis, sampling of Bulk ingredients daily
  • Perform cycle counts and BBE checks as and when requested, assisting Syrup room operators with ALL outstanding IDOC errors
  • To offload ALL bulk deliveries in line with SOP’s,
  • ensuring that CIP’s are carried out on tank farm as and when required, booking in of stock in SAP
  • All items labelled with correct batch barcode label upon SAP receipt
  • Maintain all housekeeping standards within ingredients storage and handling areas including loading bay area, cold store, chemical bunds
  • To maintain high level of service to internal and external customers
  • To be thoroughly professional at all times
  • To support first time quality as a priority
  • Raise NCR’s for ALL damaged Ingredients or ingredient that have exceeded BBE, updating SAP and working with Quality team to ensure appropriate action is taken

Knowledge Requirements and Experience and Qualifications:

  • A good understanding of sap with experience of using the system in a similar environment
  • Pc knowledge (excel, word and outlook skills)
  • Good understanding of stock control principles
  • Good understanding of warehouse and process operations
  • Good understanding of quality processes and NCRs
  • Knowledge of quality processes relating to the role eg temperature control
  • Hold a current counterbalance FLT licence (preffered but not essential)
  • Poet licence
  • Effective problem solver
  • Current food hygiene certificate
