PRODUCTION OPERATIVES – SOWTON INDUSTRIAL ESTATE

gap personnel (operating as an employment business) are recruiting for Production Operatives starting from 7th & 14th June 2021 on a temporary contract until the end of October 2021 with the possibility to be extended for a large manufacturing company based at Sowton Industrial Estate, Exeter.

Your duties as Production Operative will include:

  • Assembling of metal parts
  • Cutting, labelling and finishing
  • Paint spraying (once trained)
  • Operating a press brake (once trained)
  • Quality control checks on finished products
  • General housekeeping around warehouse and production areas
  • Ensuring all health & safety standards are adhered to at all times

Previous manufacturing or assembly experience would be desired, although full training will be provided.

Available Working Hours & Pay Rate:

  • Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 16:15pm & Friday 13:30pm
  • Monday to Thursday 14:00pm to 22:30pm & Friday 14:00pm to 19:30pm (assignment to last until end of October 2021 with possibility to be extended)
  • Monday to Friday 6:00am to 14:00pm (assignment to last until end of October 2021 with possibility to be extended)
  • £9.00 per hour for 7:30am start
  • £10.08 per hour for 6:00am start
  • £10.35 per hour for 14:00pm start
