Machine operative required in Haslingden.


Successful candidate will be involved in operating and supporting surface mount machine and work as a part of a small team.

The role is open to candidates with all types of previous experience in manufacturing environment. Previous machinery roles may be advantageous, and training will be provided. The ideal candidate will have an interest in machinery, PCB production and have a drive for progression and continuous improvement. This role will be support by specific training in SMT Operations and will have a different technical skill set.


Shift and pay: Monday to Thursday 1pm to 11pm - £9.01 per hour with premium rate of £12.51 paid for hours worked from 6pm onwards


Main responsibilities:

·Quality – To improve and sustain surface mount quality above a 4 sigma level (99.4%).

·Delivery – To ensure ‘on-time-in-full’ delivery of surface mount PCB’s.

·Efficiency – To ensure surface mount uptime is maintained at a level above target.

·Cost – To devise and execute cost reducing continuous improvement projects.
