Role: Production/Laboratory Operative
Location: Stoke, ST4
Job Term: Temporary on-going with a possibility to become permanent for the right candidate.
Remuneration: £10 per hour
Working hours: x3 12-hour Shifts rotating through Days and nights over a 7 day working week. The shifts will work on a 5-week rotational pattern.
Leading industrial recruitment agency Gap Personnel acting as an employment business is working in a close partnership with their client based in Cliffe Vale. We are currently looking for a Laboratory/Production Operative to join this fantastic working environment. This opportunity is for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is looking for a new challenge as well as wishing to enhance their skills.
We provide a full brief ahead of the start day.
The role will include operating equipment associated with clay processing. The candidate must hold a valid Counterbalance Forklift License.
Duties will include: -
- Receipt and storage of all chemicals and raw materials
- Processing and testing of slurries/milled clay products
- Loading and despatch of product to Customers
- The successful applicant will have the ability to work as part of a team, adhere to high safety standards and have a good level of housekeeping.
Previous experience/knowledge of ceramic technology will be greatly beneficial, however full training will be given for the right candidate.
Due to the nature of the job role all applicants must hold a full driver’s license.
