PROMISE DATE PLANNER / CREWKERNE – FIXED TERM CONTRACT

Location: Crewkerne, Somerset
Assignment: 6-8 month FTC
Pay: £23,000 - £30,000 DOE

We are currently recruiting for a Promise Data Planner for our well-known manufacturing client based in Crewkerne on a 6 - 8-month Fixed Term Contract.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and managing the production promise dates to achieve customers on time deliveries.

Duties as Promise Date Planner:

  • Working closely with Business Analyst, Production Planning, Manufacturing & Procurement to ensure there is effective resources and materials to achieve on time delivery dates for customers
  • Implementing production plan for each Valve Steam
  • Proactively managing promise dates from receipt of order
  • First point of contact for customer service
  • Keeping customers up to date with any changes in promise dates and production schedules that will impart ability to deliver on time
  • Managing daily and weekly shipment forecasts
  • Attend daily production meetings to ensure there is adherence to the production schedule
  • Liaising with other departments to resolve any issues that provide risk to the production plan

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi task and work well under pressure
  • Ability to continually improve processes
  • Self-driven and a team plater
  • IT literate with experience using Word, Excel, Powerpoint and MRP / ERP systems
  • Effective negotiating skills

Hours & Pay:

  • Monday to Thursday 07:00am – 3:45pm & Friday 07:00am – 11:00am
  • 30 minute unpaid break
  • £23,000 - £30,000 DOE
