Quality Technician – Food Production

Main Responsibilities

• Ensuring all raw materials always meet safety, quality, and legality requirements, including inspecting and testing incoming materials to ensure high standards are maintained
• Reviewing and investigating any products that have received customer complaints and report findings
• Running Customer Quality Panels to drive continuous improvement across the whole company
• Recording and analysing data
• Liaising with other departments to outline upcoming changes to products
• Ensuring appropriate testing of samples is conducted in a timely manner

Experience and Skills required

• Previous experience of working within an FMCG environment in a similar role
• Food Safety Level 2 or above
• Excellent organisation and communication skills, comfortable to conduct meetings and relay information
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft packages
• Strong eye for detail
• Previous experience and knowledge of Meat Manufacturing is beneficial
