Job Title: Recruitment Consultant – Industrial Desk

Location: Leeds LS1

Salary: Up to £26,000 per annum plus bonus

Role overview:

As a Gap Personnel Recruitment Consultant within a city centre location, fantastic bonus structure, fast track career opportunities and free parking, it is expected that you develop and lead a profitable, efficient, compliant, and professional desk. You will be responsible for the growth and business development through effective sales planning, client development and candidate management.  Within this role you will be covering the Bradford, Halifax and Huddersfield area so some geographical location experience is desirable. 

As a 360 Recruitment Consultant, you will be carrying out the following duties:

  • Full management of the recruitment cycle from taking the job specification from the client to the candidates starting employment
  • Focusing on building strong relationships with businesses to understand our clients and their recruitment needs
  • Using a whole variety of means to generate new business
  • Looking after our existing clients to ensure our high levels of repeat business continues
  • Adhering to company compliance, policies, and procedures
  • Working closely with our Internal Marketing Manager who writes effective adverts for our website and the various job boards.

Experience required:

  • Previous recruitment experience is required
  • Excellent negotiation skills, confident in agreeing terms in line with business standards
  • Confident communication skills and able to speak to people at all levels
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong administration and compliance skills
  • Extremely motivated with a resilient and positive ‘can do’ attitude
  • Highly organised individual with the ability to meet required deadlines
