Recruitment Consultant

gap personnel are recruiting for a Recruitment Consultant to join our Peterborough team on a permanent basis.

Hours of work, Monday to Friday between 08:30-17:30

Salary; £24,000-£26,000 + uncapped bonus - negotiable depending on experience

Key Priorities of the role are:

• Managing a warm industrial desk to maximise business
• Generating new business leads & growth opportunities
• Consulting & liaising with clients on recruitment & providing solutions
• Managing out of hours on a rota basis
• Creating & maximising opportunities & negotiating the best terms to add to the profitability of the desk
• Managing recruitment activity through all channels to fulfil client requirements & place candidates as needed within the clientds.
• Takes an active lead in all branch accounts & ensuring service levels are reviewed, managed & improvements are put in place when needed.
• Achievement of agreed targets, financial & non-financial.
• Represent the brand positively in all actions
• Ensure we operate to compliance standards & all employment legislation

The successful candidate will have:

• Strong client management skills, with a track record of retaining & managing business.
• Background in developing Industrial recruitment desks
• Knowledge of the recruitment market
• Ability to attract & recruit candidates in line with our client needs
• Have experience of managing clients in challenging times
