gap healthcare is currently working with a medium sized provider who has services for people with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour, mental health needs, elderly living with dementia, as well as children with disabilities and complex needs. We are supporting them in finding a new Registered Manager for a small learning disabilities service for adults with challenging behaviour and additional needs, based in Hornchurch.

The home is registered for up to 7 service users and it has a good CQC report. You will be supported by a great operational team who is looking at making investments over the next 6 to 12 months which will bring development, training and career opportunities.

The role is full time, Monday to Friday 9 to 5 with the occasional weekend work if required for spot checks and supervisions.

Main requirements for the Registered Manager:
  • previous experience in a similar position at a Deputy or Service Manager level
  • NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • thorough understanding of CQC requirements
  • previous experience in supporting adults with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour
