Job Role: Retail Warehouse Assistant 

Hours: Monday to Saturday Sat 8:45am-5:45pm (Work on a 5-day rota basis across the 6 trading days)

Hourly Salary: £11.50ph

gap personnel Bristol, in partnership with the UK’s leading catering company Nisbets, are currently looking for a Retail Warehouse Advisor based in Avonmouth, Bristol BS11. As a Retail Warehouse Advisor at Nisbets, you will always be looking to interact with customers to ensure they leave with exactly what they want with a positive lasting impression.

Since the end of the pandemic, the UK catering and hospitality industry has continued to grow with Nisbets seeing increased orders into 2022. The role of the Retail Assistant is fundamental to support of the business, whilst Nisbets products cover everything from refrigeration to pastry, cooking machines to knives, and everything in between.


Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Processing and clearing end of line products in the warehouse ready for sale in the clearance store and through Nisbets sales channels.
  • Being the first point of call for advising and assisting our customers with general queries in the clearance store
  • Pricing and merchandising
  • Serving at the till area
  • Customer engagement, greeting customers and helping them source the correct product



  • Customer service and excellent communications skills
  • Self-Motivation
  • Computer literacy and ability to use Microsoft Office Package (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Problem solving
  • Organisational skills
  • Manual handling and ability to lift up to 25kg due to the warehouse side of the role
