Gap personnel are acting as an employment business to recruit for one of our clients based in Central Bristol for sales executives on a temporary to permanent basis.


Our client is one of the big Six energy suppliers in the UK, they provide Gas and Electricity to over 5 million households and businesses’ within the UK. They are also the leading developer of wind power the UK and are dedicated to reducing their Carbon footprint.


The role:

  • Making outbound calls to customers to quote them on products and services
  • Completing the sign up process with customers
  • Gaining product knowledge and be able to cross sell when possible
  • Follow all compliance standards

The ideal candidate:

  • Our client needs candidates with previous sales experience, they will consider this from any background (contact centre, canvassing, field sales etc)
  • Have strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships
  • Have strong judgement and decision making skills
  • Be able to work within a team
  • Be focused on exceeding KPI’s
  • Be comfortable with working in a fast pace environment
  • Knowledge of the energy market would be desirable


Starting salary £9.20 per hour, permanent salary £18,000-£20,000 with a competitive commission structure after 1 month.

Working Hours: Monday – Friday shifts between: 10:00am – 8:00pm. 1:4 Saturdays with day off in lieu

Training Overview: Training is provided in a 4-day classroom-based training which will be campaign specific. Then enrolled in 4 week academy where they will be supported in transfer the knowledge and skills they learnt during their training. On completion of the academy period the new starter will be signed off to graduate.

Holiday Restrictions: No holiday requests during the 5 weeks of Training and Academy


These roles will be starting on the 10th of June with interviews on the 3rd and 4th of June.
