JOB PURPOSE

SAP Master Data Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, updating and creating all master data for new and existing product. The role involves preparing and uploading product information from Excel spreadsheets into our SAP system and vice versa. Generating accurate Bill of Materials and routings for the factory, communicating with other departments on new product creations and developments.  It also includes the maintenance and publication of controlled documents. 

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generating and maintaining master data on SAP including Bills of Materials, routings, costings & time studies
  • Collating data from other departments for uploading materials onto SAP
  • Maintenance of BOM’s for multi-group production routings
  • Serves as SAP Master Data specialist on integration projects and in process change control
  • Master data Training and documentation (maintenance and communication)
  • Backup to the Engineering Change Administrator, supporting Engineering Change Requests and Notifications as needed.
  • Special projects as assigned
