gap personnel (operating as an employment business) have an exciting opportunity for a Seniror Quality Assessor to join a well-established manufacturing company who specialise in electrical products. Our client is seeking new talent to join their team. The environment is busy and fast paced. This is an ongoing temporary assignment.
The role will operate within a team in the Quality Department and will have responsibility for coordinating analysis and projects to solve market quality and customer issues with the products that the company produce. You will help team members to follow processes and procedures and use various methodologies to determine the cause of issues and offer suggestions to resolve there.
Contract Type: Temporary On-Going
Business Area: Electrical
Salary: £15.00-£17.00+ per hour (depending on experience)
Shifts: Monday-Thursday 07:45-16:30 and Friday 07:45-13:30 – benefit of Flexi Scheme,
Start date: Immediate
Duties will include:
-Plan, prioritise and solve market quality issues using technical experience and expertise
-Knowledge of project management processes
-High-Level problem-solving skills with ability to efficiently resolve technical issues
-Knowledge of various quality system methodologies eg Lean, 5 Why’s, Six Sigma etc
-Understanding of Manufacturing processes
-Product & component evaluation skills
-Knowledge of HAS processes & documentation
-Must be able to work tight deadlines, have a positive attitude and demonstrate good communication & leadership skills
-High level of knowledge of office software required
-Able to use SharePoint for filing documents
-Must have valid driver’s license
-Ability to travel abroad
-Coach and mentor other team members
-Ensure quality through all areas of the teams work and environments through checking all team documents
