Location: Somerset 
Salary: £17,000, uncapped Commission OTE £35,000 - £45,000 
Hours: Monday – Friday 8- 6pm with every other Saturday 
We have a fantastic opportunity available for experienced Senior Sales Consultant to join our client who is a busy dealership based in Somerset. 
They offer you a combination of a basic salary plus commission, which is determined by you and your progression. Also offer a Company Car, Company Pension Scheme and annual bonus. 

Main Responsibilities include: 
· To ensure the Sales Experience is delivered to every customer using internal and manufacturer processes 
· To actively prospect and follow up every sales opportunity 
· To continuously deliver the highest level of customer satisfaction 
· To sell an agreed volume of new and used cars within a defined period 
· To pursue and achieve incremental sales and profit opportunities through the sale and / or introduction of Finance, Preferences, Warranty, Insurance, Options and Accessory sales 
· To achieve the Customer Satisfaction Objectives, whilst ensuring every opportunity is taken to continuously improve working methods and standards 
· To achieve the individual profit objectives set by the Sales Manager 

Required Knowledge: 
· Telephone techniques and etiquette 
· Appropriate customer handling skills 
· Automotive systems (e.g. understanding of basic vehicle layout, function and location of parts) and current issues 
· New models and recent improvements through technical bulletins, training courses, motor industry journals, technical magazines 
· Competitors’ products and prices 
· Prices, models, series, options, warranties, colours, standard equipment and specifications 
· Appropriate knowledge of funding methods 
· In-house computer systems and the internet 
· General office equipment (i.e. telephone systems, copiers, fax machines, internet) 
· Vehicle legislation, consumer legislation and trade practice
