gap professional are operating as an employment agency on behalf of its client who are recruiting for Spanish European Business Development Representative based in Yeovil on a permanent basis. If you want to work in an open plan, friendly office with a manufacturing company that sell an extensive range of products, this is the job for you!
Hours: Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4.30pm with an unpaid one hour lunch break each day.
Salary: £19,500 plus commission and bonus
A Business Development Representative works to improve an organisation’s market position and achieve financial growth. This person builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates and closes business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions. To achieve this, they need to find potential new customers, present to them, ultimately convert them into clients, and continue to grow business in the future. A Business Development Representative will also help manage existing clients and ensure they stay satisfied and positive. Often being required to meet or predict their clients’ future needs.
Existing Business Development
Work towards individual, departmental and business targets and objectives
To retain, develop and grow existing accounts in a Dutch territory by presenting products, offers and services to customers through excellent communication and listening skills
Executing excellence and call objectives when working through call cycles with the aim to develop your existing customers and customer retention
To translate, diagnose and action all customer request in order to achieve total customer satisfaction
Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.
Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets.
Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.
To offer world class customer service when required from Credits, delivery issues, catalogue requests, data input, order process and complaints.
Understand the company’s goal and purpose so that it will continually enhance the company’s performance.
New Business Development
Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business.
Lead generation – Cold call as appropriate within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
Excellent communication and listening skills
Identify potential clients, and the decision makers
Research and build relationships with new clients.
Set call objectives, plan approaches and pitches.
Participate in pricing the solution/service.
Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
Present an image that mirrors that of the client.
