Our client provides a residential setting for young adults with learning disability and/or challenging behaviour within a 6 bedded house on a 30 acre site. The aim is to encourage residents to lead as active and independent life as possible.
As a Support Worker you will help the residents to achieve this by:
* Providing support and guidance in the residential home and participating in off-site activities
* Support residents with managing their own behaviours and to be as independent as possible
* Assist with personal care as per their independent Care Plan
Due to the nature of the role consistency and reliability are essential. This client will provide Support Workers with the opportunity to secure regular full time work. Shifts required are Days and/or Nights. Shift patterns are:
Days: 0800 - 2100
Nights: 2030 - 0800
Previous experience working as a Support Worker is essential.
