Gap Personnel Group, operating as an employment business, are currently looking to recruit several Test Technicians for our well-established manufacturing client based in Burnley.

Contract: Temporary to Permanent after 12 weeks

Factory Location: Burnley

Salary: £10.50 plus shift allowance

Full time: 6 am – 2 pm, 2pm – 10pm, 10pm – 6am

The ideal candidate must have worked in a quality environment and capacity previously, have previous proven inspection experience. Must be deadline driven with the ability to work in a high pressure environment.

The role will involve monitoring and testing product for issues and inaccuracies, you will be require to concentrate for long periods of time.

Strong IT skills are essential and GCSE Grade C or above in Mathematics preferred.

The successful candidates:

  1. Must be able to communicate in English (verbal and writing / reading)
  2. Must have exceptional attention to detail
  3. Experience of working in a manufacturing environment, adhering to health and safety policies
  4. Must be good with manual work and must be able to work to standard operating procedures in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Must have good attendance and good time keeping
  6. Must be reliable and must be able to work in a team and on their own using their initiative.
