My client is a leading Logistics company who support a variety of busy manufacturing companies in their area.
As they getting busier, they are looking for a Transport Administrator to join their team. You will be working alongside the transport team in a busy fast paced transport office.
The position will be supporting the transport supervisors and planning teams to ensure the operation is run efficiently and that all queries are dealt with in a timely manner.
The role will include transport administration duties, briefing and debriefing drivers and dealing with any other requirements as they arise.
Experience required: The ideal candidate will have experience working in a transport / logistics office or working directly with HGV drivers at some level.
Previous customer service experience an advantage
- Good, confident telephone manner
- Good computer skills
- Ability to multi task and cover a variety of admin duties
- Confident dealing with people face to face
- General admin skills including date entry, processing requirements and queries
