Immediate start in Burnley for Warehouse Operatives!

Successful candidates will be working in Extrusion department completing manual handling tasks  which will involve handling 6.5m length of uPVC and packing them into stillages & pallets. The role will involve heavy lifting, so candidates must be physically fit. Previous experience preferred.

The successful candidate will have good attendance and good time keeping, must be reliable, good at listening to instructions, good at working in a team and on own using their initiative and must be able to communicate in English

Role responsibilities

  • Ensuring correct product identification labels are in place.
  • Packaging profile to standards expected by the customer
  • To work within a team, maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues.
  • To ensure material handling, both mechanical and manual is carried out efficiently and safely
  • Undertake general housekeeping duties within the department, ensuring that the working environment is maintained in line with Company requirements.

The general pattern is 7-7 (days or nights - rotating every 2 weeks), for example;

Week One:        Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat, Sun (days)
Week Two:        Wed, Thurs (days)
Week Three:        Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat, Sun (nights)
Week Four:        Wed, Thurs (nights)

£11.58 per hour
