gap personnel, operating as an employment business, are currently looking to recruit several Warehouse Operatives for one our well-established client based in Ashton In Makerfield.

The client are mass producers of pillows and quilts for many well known high street retailers Candidates would be working in a large warehouse environment.
Daily tasks include but are not limited to: order picking, order packing, inventory and helping to load/unload containers. You would be expected to adhere to H&S regulations and to keep your area clean & tidy.
The client is looking for candidates that are driven and hardworking. They are also looking for candidates with potential to train for more long term and skilled positions
The purpose of the role would be to support the shift managers and to work as a team to achieve the targets. Previous experience of working in a warehouse is preferred.
However, all training and an induction will be provided.
Shift Pattern & Hourly Rates Candidates need to be flexible and be able to do 6am till 2pm/2pm till 10pm Monday to Friday. Additional hours are paid at time and a half
Positions initially offer temporary/ongoing placements Permanent opportunities may be offered following completion of 12 weeks; permanent opportunities are subject to the client’s requirements.
