Gap Personnel are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to work with one of our prestige clients based in the Darwen area, This is a full time, temporary to permanent position after 12 weeks completed, where full training will be provided to successful candidates.

Warehouse Operative Required

The Role

As a Warehouse Operative , you will be responsible for processing and packing customer orders, receiving, Unloading containers, Using in house computer systems. You will obtain merchandise from pallets or boxes and ensure the accuracy of all orders filled. Duties you will undertake in this role will include:

  • Picking in a targeted timely fashion
  • Packing products
  • Wrapping pallets
  • Quality checking
  • Unloading Containers coming into the depot daily
  • Inputting items into an in house computer system

Working hours are : Monday till Friday 10:30am-19:00pm or 7am-15:30pm

The rate of pay is £8.21 per hour increasing to £8.55 after 12 weeks.

To be a successful candidate for this position you will need to be:

· Enthusiastic

· Punctual

· Driven by set targets

· Have flexibility to work different shifts

· Be able to understand and receive verbal and written instructions

· Have good numeracy and literacy skills

· Be able to work under pressure in a busy environment
