We are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives in Wednesbury
Location: Wednesbury
Working Hours:
- Nights shift - 9pm-5am, 5 days out of 7
Hourly rate:
- Night £9.30-£13.50 per hour
- £2.00 per hour for hours worked between 00:00am-05:00 am
- £1.00 per hour for whilst working in the freezer!
Break time :
- 1 x 30 Minutes
What you will need:
- Certification as a low-level order picker (ideal) or some experience of working on LLOP trucks (essential)
- Willing to work in all temperature-controlled areas with a variety of food products
- Attention to detail
- Self-motivated to work hard and do all tasks to the best of your ability
- Must be flexible to work a range of shifts and work overtime during the Morning, Afternoon and Nights
Working in a fast-paced distribution environment, your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Using instructions given to you through a headset, you will pick, and pack selected products from each store, including meat, fruit, frozen and chilled items
- Ensure deliveries are stacked safely and securely
- Report any damaged items to manager
- Work through your orders independently
- Working as a team to clean any equipment and check all stock
