Pay Rate: £10.70ph

gap personnel Gloucester are recruiting for 6 Warehouse Pickers for an ongoing temporary assignment as one of the UK’s largest dairy manufacturers in Tewkesbury, GL20. As a warehouse picker you will assist with the warehousing department as they look to pick and load the stock ready for distribution throughout the UK. With the sites main product being stored within a chilled environment, you will be picking items within their chilled warehouse ready for items to be despatched.  

The site operates on a 6 day week and you will be required to work 2 Saturdays in a month. For those that are able to demonstrate a strong work ethic, and a commitment to the working hours there are permanent opportunities available and you are welcome to apply after completing your 12 week probationary period.  

Main Duties as a Warehouse Picker:

• Picking of singular and multiple items
• Ensuring items are picked as per client pick sheet
• Items checked for damage and defects and issues reported

Rotational Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 7am – 4.30pm or 9am – 6.30pm
• Saturday 7am – 4.30pm

Hourly Pay Rates

• Basic Rate - £10.70ph

Successful candidates will have experience working in similar role, previous experience with the use of manual pump trucks is desired. As part of the selection process, inductions will be held on site in line with their health and safety policies.
