Gap Personnel Group, operating as an employment business, are currently looking to recruit several Production Operatives for one our well-established client based in Ashton In Makerfield

Overview
The client are mass producers of pillows and quilts for many well known high street retailers.
You would be working on one of a number of production lines and assisting in creating and packing the finished product. You would be expected to adhere to H&S regulations and to keep your area clean & tidy. The client is looking for candidates that are driven and hardworking. They are also looking for candidates with potential to train for more long term and skilled positions
The purpose of the role would be to support the shift managers and to work as a team to achieve the targets.
Any experience of machine operating and/or packing would be extremely beneficial. However, all training and an induction will be provided.
Shift Pattern & Hourly Rates
6am till 2pm & 2pm till 10pm (Mon – Fri) which rotate on a weekly basis at £8.21 p/h
37.5hr week. Any additional hours are paid at time and a half
Job Type
Positions initially offer temporary/ongoing placements. Permanent opportunities may be offered following completion of 12 weeks; permanent opportunities are subject to the client’s requirements.
