Are you an experienced logistics Team Leader that would relish to work with a global organisation & make a difference to a busy fulfilment centre operation?

Duties include but are not limited to;

You will be responsible for the safety, engagement, quality and productivity of our client's warehouse for the evening shift and this will consist of between 30 and 90 staff. Together with them and the operations leadership team, you will:

·Focus relentlessly on creating a safe, engaging and fun working environment.

·Instil and strengthen a culture of customer obsession, and ownership of the customer’s experience

·Continuously improve the quality and productivity of the operation to better serve the customer

To enable your team of staff, you will use your leadership skills, planning skills and analytical ability on a day to day basis. Your activities will typically include:

·Overseeing the planning and execution of shifts in your department

·Generating, tracking and reporting on operational metrics relevant to your department to assess performance, identify improvement opportunities and provide visibility to the wider business

·Managing the flow of work through your department, in cooperation with other department leads

·Identify opportunities to improve Associate safety, welfare and job performance

Basic qualifications

·Previous experience as a forklift driver – RTITB accredited

·Previous experience as a team leader in a distribution centre or warehouse

·A great leader and teammate, you thrive when working with others, and go the extra mile to ensure the success of your people, and operation

·You’re comfortable with unfamiliar situations and have the ability to problem-solve without all the information.

·You can use data to support your ideas, and are familiar with tools such as Excel

·You have great written and verbal communication skills
