Yard Assistant

gap personnel are currently recruiting for a yard assistant for a company based in Exeter.

The site manufactures products which are distributed throughout the UK and Europe and therefore have daily inbound and outbound vehicles entering and exiting the site. It will be your responsibility to unload the incoming deliveries onto the yard using a Forklift Counterbalance truck.

You will be a good allrounder across trades, responsible for the site indoor and outdoor facilities, providing the site with general yard housekeeping and maintenance, whilst also supporting production and warehouse areas with upkeep and cleanliness.

Required for the role:

• Current Forklift Counterbalance ticket is required for this role.

The hours and pay:

Monday to Friday, 8.30am till around 1pm (circa 22.5 to 25 hours per week)

£9.00ph

This role would suit an individual that is flexible on their hours that are worked and has previously worked as a general handyman or site maintenance operative.
