gap personnel Gloucester are recruiting for 2 Yard Cleaning & Stores Operative for an ongoing temporary assignment based in Cinderford, Gloucestershire, GL14. As a Yard Cleaning & Stores Operative you will join a global provider of products, solution and services across multiple sectors and industries. You will be a key member of the team in the preparation of their products ready to be recycled for customer use again.

Main Duties as a Yard Cleaning & Stores Operative:

  • Processing and cleaning of used and returned reels.
  • Removal of labels, removal of any scrap metal.
  • Ensuring all reels are correctly cleaned, stacked and stored correctly in preparation to be used again.
  • May be asked to assist in other duties such as stock take, movement of stock.

Rotational Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 8am – 4pm (flexibility can be provided)
  • Working Week - 37.5 hours

Hourly Pay Rates

  • Basic Rate - £9.50ph
  • Overtime Rate - £12.66ph (weekdays)
  • Overtime Rate - £14.25ph (Saturday)
  • Overtime Rate - £19.00ph (Sunday)

Successful candidates will have experience working in similar role, previous experience with the use of manual pump trucks is desired. As part of the selection process, inductions will be held on site in line with their health and safety policies.
