Job description
We are urgently recruiting for a Band 5 Plumber to support West London NHS Trust. This is a temporary role at present and is expected to run through for a minimum of 12 weeks at which point the position will be reviewed.
Details of assignment:
Carry out work activities which are both routine and non-routine.
Carry out new works, repairs and routine planned maintenance activities to mechanical and heating, hot and cold water plant, equipment and services.
Carry out reactive work requests, minor new installation requests and weekly planned preventative maintenance dockets efficiently.
Escort contractors carrying out inspections, installations
strictly adhere to the relevant policies and procedures, maintain tool lists and comply with Health and Safety and Security Regulations
Qualification
minimum NVQ Level 3 in plumbing, refrigeration or mechanical services
specialised in a mechanical service (i.e. Gas, refrigeration, heat pumps)
Water safety Training
Must be a driver
1 - Working days and hours: Monday - Thursday 8am to 4.30pm; Fridays 8am – 4pm
2 – Ideal start date: It will be in the new year subject to interview outcome and satisfactory checks
3 – interview/vetting process - One face-to-face interview
