Production Operative

We are currently recruiting for a temp to perm role- production operative based in Accrington

This is a very “hands on” position and requires pro-active, enthusiastic individuals with a can-do attitude

Responsibilities include:

·          Building, Filling and Finishing product

·          Preparing sub-assemblies

·          Receipting units onto the system electronically

·          Accurately completing production documentation

·          Quality checking manufactured materials to ensure the highest quality is being produced

·          General Housekeeping duties including tidy the factory floor and sweeping to maintain a clean working environment

·          Adhere to all health and safety protocols and procedures to create a safe working environment.

The successful candidates should possess:

·          Hands on operation/assembly skills

·          Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and procedures and follow standard operations procedure

·          Ability to set up and run machines and monitor equipment.

·          Ability to multitask and work under pressure to tight deadlines.

·          Ability to work alone or as a member of a team.

Shift:

The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday on the day shift but may occasionally be required to change shift/cell to meet the needs of the company.

Monday to Friday 7:45-16:15

Pay Rate: £12 per hour
