Process Operator

We are currently looking for a motivated and reliable Process Operator / Extrusion Operator to join our production team.

 

You’ll work individually and as part of a team to operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring high-quality output and minimal downtime.

 

 What you’ll do:

• Operate and monitor production machinery to meet quality and efficiency standards

• Carry out routine checks and adjustments to maintain product specifications

• Work safely and report any issues or unsafe conditions

• Communicate effectively with team members across shifts

• Keep your work area clean and organised.

 

As an Extrusion Engineer/Operator your main role will be to work individually and within a team to maintain and operate all Extrusion equipment, working pro-actively to raise standards in the process and department.

You will ensure product quality standards and maximum output are achieved, while supporting the policies, goals, and objectives of the business

 

What we’re looking for:

• NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in a manufacturing or production discipline

• Basic computer and IT skills

• Strong communication skills and attention to detail

• Reliability, flexibility, and the ability to work under pressure

• Commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement

Location: 📍 Blackburn, Lancashire

Shift & Hours: 🕒 3-shift pattern (days & nights)

6am-2pm/2pm-10pm/10pm-6am

Pay rate : 14.98 per hour including shift allowance
