QC Technologist

Gap personnel who operate as an employment business are recruiting for 1 QC Technologist, to start asap for the right candidate detailed:

Role: QC Technologist  

Job Term: Temp    

Location: Stafford, ST16

Working hours: Monday to Friday 8.00am - 16.30pm. Must be flexible and able to cover the Nightshift Sunday to Wednesday 19.00pm – 7.00am

Pay: £12.71p/h (nights £14.25)

Job Description: Complete daily testing of Raw materials finished products and NPD samples. To validate cleaning in plant (ATP SWABS, Allergen tests etc). Carry out daily GMP audits and paperwork inspection as required

Job Role:

• Daily calibration of testing equipment
• Preparation of samples for external microbiological testing.
• Storing of retained samples
• Testing samples of production according to specification
• Recording test results electronically
• Completion of results paperwork
• Testing of NPD samples
• Samples collected and stored for customer testing
• Collate samples from production area
• Validating line paperwork against the finished product for any discrepancies
• Weekly testing of scales and thermometers
• Setting up shelf life trials as required
• Daily GMP audits
• Daily paperwork inspections
• Labelling verification
• Carry out other duties at management request 

Required Experience/Qualifications :

·         Food experience

·         GCSE 1-3 IN Chemistry or General science

·         Numerate and Literate
