*EVENING MULTI-SKILLED LINE OPERATOR, PWLLHELI*

*PERMANENT ROLE – IMMEDIATE STARTS AVAILABLE*

*MONDAY – THURSDAY WORKING 4:30PM-2:30AM PAYING £11.32PH (BEFORE 8PM) & £13.48PH (AFTER 8PM)*

*RATES WILL INCREASE TO £12.06PH (BEFORE 8PM) & £14.36PH (AFTER 8PM) ONCE TRAINING HAS BEEN SUCESSFULLY COMPLETED*

Pay & Hours of Work

·         Monday to Thursday working 4:30pm-2:30am

·         £11.32 per hour (before 8pm) & £13.48 per hour (after 8pm) rising to £12.06 per hour (before 8pm) and £14.36 per hour (after 8pm) once all relevant training has been successfully completed

 

Responsibilities

·         Maintain excellent packaging line efficiency in line with the set plans ensuring they are delivered in full and on time

·         Operate the equipment and packaging machinery involved in the cutting, grating, weighing and packaging to ensure efficient and accurate packaging of our product

·         Follow all GMP, Food Safety and critical quality control points as outlined in HACCP policies

·         Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues that may arise during the packaging process

·         Adhere to strict hygiene regulations working with the hygiene/technical team to ensure that all controls are met

·         Assist with training and development of the individuals in the department to enable progression (Succession Planning) of line operators

·         Actively participate in Operational processes that support the improvement of our business performance

·         Adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures, Site Policies and Safe Systems of Work (SSOW)

·         Carrying out visual on-line Quality Checks against the company standards

·         Effectively communicate with all appropriate personnel within your level of responsibility

 

Essential Skills

·         Ability to work effectively within a fast paced environment and use own initiative to solve problems

·         Self-motivated with mechanical aptitude to operate packaging machinery and troubleshooting capability

·         Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team

·         Competent numeracy, literacy and PC skills and a good communicator

·         Knowledge of standards, equipment and/or processes within a food production environment

·         Ability to maintain accurate records

 

Desirable Qualifications

·         Food Safety & Hygiene Level 2

·         Basic Health and Safety

·         Manual Handling
