FLT Drivers / Warehouse Operatives x 2, Deeside
Weekend Role | 24 Hours Per Week (12 Hour Days & Nights) | Permanent | £17.71 per hour
Are you a licensed FLT driver with Reach, Counterbalance, and Electric Hand Truck certifications? Looking for a stable, weekend-only role within a fast-paced FMCG company? We might have just the opportunity for you!
*We will also consider candidates with expired licences who are open to refresher training*
Hours & Pay
- 24 hours per week on a rotating weekly shift pattern
- Week 1 (Nights): Fri 6pm–Sat 6am & Sat 6pm–Sun 6am - Week 2 (Days): Sat 6am–6pm & Sun 6am–6pm
- £17.71 per hour (£21,438.14 annually)
- Weekday overtime available (not guaranteed)
Your Key Responsibilities
- Deliver materials from warehouse to production to meet daily plans
- Complete all transactions using RF scanner accurately
- Supply pallets to production and load finished goods onto shrink wrappers
- Unload incoming vehicles, rack materials, and prepare outgoing loads following GRN procedures
- Generate and submit trailer transfer notes and pre-advice documentation
- Maintain pallet wrap machine and report faults
- Conduct visual racking inspections and remove warehouse waste
- Cycle count and monitor stock accuracy
- Follow health & safety and GMP protocols daily
- Relocate pallets within warehouse to optimize storage, recording all movements
- Manage conveyor loading and liaise with drivers for efficient pallet wrapping and loading
- Coordinate with 3PL consolidators for collection scheduling and updates
- Send shift reports and resolve any loading or label printing issues
What You Bring
- Previous warehouse experience essential
- Counterbalance, Reach, and Electric Hand Truck licenses and experience
- Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude
- Ability to make effective decisions independently while escalating as needed
- Basic equipment management and maintenance skills
