360 Operator/Yard Operative

We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking 360 Operator/Yard Operative to support the smooth day-to-day running of our site. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be involved in recycling operations, site maintenance, and machinery checks, with opportunities to develop new skills.

Pay & Hours

·         £13.39 per hour + overtime opportunities

·         Monday to Friday (approx. 40 hours per week)

·         Overtime available during weekdays and weekend

      Temporary to Permanent position for the right candidate

Key Responsibilities

·         Load and unload containers and curtain siders using a Forklift Truck

·         Rotate and sort stock across the site using a 360

·         Manage stock movement and assist with site operations

·         Remove non-conforming materials from incoming loads

·         Carry out daily checks on machinery, plant, and work areas

·         Ensure all plant and equipment are maintained in safe working order

·         Complete daily plant records and report any faults or issues

·         Maintain high standards of site housekeeping, including yard cleaning

·         Support traffic management on site (Banksman duties where required)

·         Liaise with the Weighbridge Operator to track inbound/outbound materials and stock levels

·         Always Follow all Health & Safety and environmental policies and procedures

·         Undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by management

What We’re Looking For

·         You must hold a current licence as a 360 Operator and Forklift truck (FLT) licence

·         have previous experience in using a 360 and a FLT in a workplace environment.

·         have awareness and understanding of Health & safety procedures on an industrial site

·         Positive attitude and strong work ethic

·         Reliable with good attendance

·         Team player who contributes to a productive work environment

·         Flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks

·         Open to training and developing new skills

·         Strong attention to detail
