Shovel Driver

An exciting on-going opportunity has become available for a Loading Shovel/ FLT Driver to work with our client, who is a Cardboard and Waste Paper Recycling specialist based in Sandycroft area.

As a Loading Shovel Driver, you will be responsible for loading and unloading of waste materials in the yards area

 

 

Pay & Hours Of Work:

 

• £14.00 per hour
• Monday to Friday working 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am (when required)

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

 

• Loading and unloading of waste materials in the yards area and work as part of a team.

·         Operation of fixed and mobile plant according to the training given, and within site rules.

• To Supervise shift members to process material in a safe efficient manner.

·         To carry out any other such reasonable job-related tasks as the company may require you to undertake from time to time.

• To share responsibility for health and safety of the team.

·         To monitor other personnel working at or visiting the depot and to ensure that they are complying with site rules, and to promptly report breaches.

·         Carry out a range of manual handling duties.

·         Carry out physical checks on mobile plant.

 

 

Requirements:

 

·         Experience in the wastepaper/recycling industry

·         Previous Shovel Driving Experience

·         Flexibility
