Fabricator Welder

The main purpose of the role is to fabricate and weld product as per drawings within health and safety guidelines, to the companies desired quality levels and in the required timeframe.

 

Pay and Working Hours

·         Monday to Friday working 8.00am-4.30pm  

·         £13.00 - £18.00 per hour (depending on qualifications and experience)

Our clients site is just a short walk from the main bus stops in Flint – Buses 10A, 11, 11C, 11F, 18, 19, 28, 28X & D3

 

Responsibilities

·         Fabricating and repairing metal components and structures.

·         Inspecting finished welds to determine structural soundness.

·         Using a variety of welding techniques, including tungsten inert gas (TIG), metal inert/active gas (MIG/MAG) and arc welding

·         Using hand tools and grinding equipment to prepare material for welding.

·         Carrying out routine maintenance on welding equipment

 

Requirements

·         Ability to interpret engineering drawings.

·         Ability to operate welding and fabricating machinery.

·         Ability to read and interpret measuring devices.

·         Able to work unsupervised, and act on own initiative within guidelines set by the company.
