Service Engineer

Are you looking for a permanent role in the Holywell area? We are proud to be recruiting for a Service Engineer for a leading supplier and manufacturer business.

  

Pay & Hours of work

·          Monday to Friday working 8am to 4-30pm – A flexible working approach required, which will include some weekend and unsociable working hours along with some overnight stays.

·           

Average working week can be 45 to 55 hrs, occasionally up to 70hrs - Overseas work in Ireland may be required – The current team earn on average £45 to £60k p/a. 

 

·          Basic Rate: £12.30 to £15.00 Per Hour (dependant on experience)

·          Out of hours working including out of hrs travel are paid at time and 1/3^rd.

·          Saturday working is paid at time and 1/3^rd all day. (none working Sundays)

 

Responsibilities

• Attending customer sites to install, commission, service and repair a range of blasting equipment.
• Provide detailed and accurate reports on the condition of the customers’ equipment, following onsite machine examinations.
• To investigate / identify machine problems in an emergency breakdown situation – both mechanically and electrical.
• Identify situations whilst on site, where productivity or efficiency improvements to equipment can be recommended to the customer.

·         Fitting, welding, and basic fabrication on site (Renewal and repair).

 

Requirements

• Full Driving License.

·         Basic electrical knowledge

• Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills, both customer facing and with internal / external staff.
• Flexible working approach, which will include some weekend and unsociable working hours along with some overnight stays.
