Commercial Manager

£45k-£55k per annum  

Monday – Friday / Office Hours   

Deeside

Our client, based in Deeside is looking to recruit a Commercial Manager on a permanent basis to join their friendly team.

Performance Objectives

·        Deliver on target performance sourcing of suitable waste materials.

·        Work closely with team to drive a growth strategy aligned with business goals.

·        Develop local strategies to plan growth through volume acquisition.

·        Complete bid and tender processes.

·        Deliver a strategy campaign to maximise revenue and productivity.

·        Secure new business for recycling operations.

·        Manage a portfolio of existing accounts and ensure that volume targets are maintained.

·        Ensure that health and safety is considered at all times.

·        Be the point of escalation for portfolio accounts where appropriate.

·        Produce regular activity and pipeline reporting to give commercial and operational stakeholders visibility of current activity and forecast new activity.

·        Liaise regularly with other commercial functions to share pipelines and best practice.

·        Drive new business and manage customer portfolio.

·        Enhance the customer experience.

Person Specification

·        Forward-thinking individual

·        Strong industry network and experience in commercial sales and marketing.

·        Ability to drive organisation's performance towards a more profitable position, securing new business, and attract additional waste volumes into network.

·        Excellent analytical skills

·        Commercial awareness.

·        Interpersonal skills.
