FLT Counterbalance (Forklift Truck) Driver / Warehouse Operative

Saltney 

£12.91 per hour

Monday to Friday – Day Shifts (42.5 hours per week)

We are looking for a reliable and physically fit FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our client’s team in Saltney. This is a demanding, physically strenuous role that requires a strong work ethic and the ability to perform manual lifting as part of your daily duties. Key Responsibilities

• Operating a forklift to safely move, load, and unload goods in a warehouse or production environment 
• Performing manual lifting and handling of heavy items as required to load onto FLT
• Ensuring safe stacking and storage of goods
• Assisting with the preparation of orders for dispatch
• General warehouse duties including stock rotation, picking, and packing
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety guidelines
• Reporting any equipment faults or issues to the supervisor immediately
• Complying with company policies and procedures to ensure safe and efficient operations

 

Key Requirements

• A valid FLT Counterbalance license
• Must be able to lift heavy items and work in a physically demanding environment 
• Previous experience in a warehouse or FLT driving role is preferred 
• Ability to work effectively within a team and adhere to strict attendance and safety standards
