Food Production Operative - bakery

We are currently recruiting experienced Food Production Operatives (Bakery) for one of our well-established Client based in Trafford Park, Manchester.

 

This is a full-time, ongoing role with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate

 

Main Duties:

Supporting with bread and rolls production

Slicing, stacking, and packing products

Working on the production line

Operating machinery such as bread slicers

Maintaining hygiene and cleanliness standards

 

Shifts:

The role involves rotating across all three shifts:

AM Shift: 6:00am – 2:00pm (Monday to Saturday)

PM Shift: 2:00pm – 10:00pm (Sunday to Friday)

Night Shift: 10:00pm – 6:00am (Sunday to Friday)

8-hour shifts

20 minutes unpaid break

Working 5–6 days per week

Approx. 40 hours per week

£12.21/hour

 

Key Responsibilities:

Baking a variety of Polish breads and confectionery items

Assisting on the production line

Operating bakery machinery

 

Requirements:

Proven experience as a baker or within a food production environment
(Overseas experience is welcome)

Ability to carry out heavy lifting

Good understanding of food hygiene standards
