Location: Gloucester
Pay Rate: £13.80p/h
Contract: Temporary to perm
Hours of work are Monday – Friday 0700 – 1600
gap personnel Gloucester are currently recruiting a Team Leader to join their manufacturing company based in Gloucester. As a Team Leader you will be managing team of fabricators (windows and doors).
For those that can demonstrate a strong work ethic, and a commitment to the working hours there are ongoing opportunities available.
Main Duties as a Team Leader
- Report to the supervisor
- Oversee the manufacture of windows and doors
- Ensure targets are achieved
- Maintain quality control of production.
· To understand and organise staff, plant, materials and equipment
· To supervise and support the team
· To respond to requests for resources from the team
- Operate equipment and machinery in a safe manner.
- experienced with aluminium doors and windows production.
- To carry out maintenance and cleaning of equipment when required.
- Fault find and report any defects or problems
- Contributing to daily targets
- To carry out all quality control checks as required.
- To ensure the production area is kept in a clean operative state.
- To provide cover in other areas of production when required.
- Ensure that the Health & Safety requirements of the Company are met at all times.
- Identifying any potential safety issues.
- Any other duties that may be required.
Successful candidate will need to have management skills experience ideally from manufacturing background
Minimum of skills required for the role:
- Team Leading experience
- Managerial and supervision experience is essential
- Experience in liaising and co-operating with all members of staff
- Experience in keeping satisfactory KPI levels and achieving targets
Working Shifts and Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 7am – 4:00pm
Hourly Pay Rates
- £13.80 per hour
