Production Operative

We are currently recruiting Production Operatives for our client based in Shaw, OL2. Our client is a well-established paper manufacturer and supplier of high-quality paper hygiene and wiping products.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with previous production or packing experience looking for long-term work with the potential to secure a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities

• Working on a fast-paced production line

• Operating production machinery

• Monitoring the production process to ensure it runs smoothly

• Packing finished products on the packing line

• Ensuring quality and safety standards are met at all times

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience working in a production or manufacturing environment

• Experience on production lines is preferred

• Skilled packing experience is highly desirable

• Good attention to detail

• Ability to work as part of a team

• Willingness to work rotating shifts

Shifts & Working Hours

This role involves rotating shifts across 3 shift patterns:

6:00am – 2:00pm

2:00pm – 10:00pm

10:00pm – 6:00am

Shift patterns include:

Monday to Friday – Days

Sunday to Thursday – Nights

Pay & Benefits

Day Shift: £12.21 per hour

Night Shift: £12.81 per hour

Overtime: Potential weekend overtime paid at 1.5x

Position is Temp to Perm for the right candidates.
