Join a Leading Welsh Food Manufacturer as an Internal Quality Auditor!
Conwy, North Wales
£28,000 per annum (negotiable based on experience)
Join an established Welsh food manufacturer, known for delivering high-quality, award-winning products to retail, food service, and manufacturing sectors across the UK. We're looking for an Internal Quality Auditor to help maintain our exceptional standards of food safety, quality, and health & safety. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to contribute to the success of an experienced team
Key Responsibilities
- Food Safety & Quality Control Conduct regular audits to ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) are followed across all processes
- Ensure all traceability procedures are in place, from factory to final product
- Monitor and verify allergen controls and enforce corrective actions when necessary
- Oversee the co-ordination of new product development trials
- Assist with customer visits and third-party audits
- Provide training and guidance to staff on food safety and quality standards
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting Health & Safety Assist in Health & Safety audits and support the implementation of key legislation
- Help maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health & safety guidelines
Key Skills
- 1-2 years in a similar internal auditing or quality role 2-3 years in food manufacturing, preferably in a compliance-focused position
- Knowledge of HACCP, VACCP, and TACCP Qualifications HACCP Level 2, Food Safety Level 2 (essential)
- Internal Auditing qualification (desirable, but full training available)
- Strong communication, organisational, and administrative skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Integrity, perseverance, consideration, and adaptability in all work situations
