Are you an experienced TIG Welder looking for your next opportunity with a leading manufacturer?

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, innovative manufacturing business based in Sheffield (S35). Our client is a market leader in the production of commercial cooking equipment, supplying products used by some of the world's best-known food service brands.

The Role

As a TIG Welder, you will be responsible for producing high-quality welds and finishes to exact specifications. You will work with a variety of materials while maintaining exceptional standards of workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

  • TIG welding to fine tolerances (±1mm)
  • Welding stainless steel and aluminium components
  • Grinding and finishing welded products
  • Polishing components to a high-quality standard
  • Working from engineering drawings and specifications
  • Maintaining quality and safety standards at all times

Working Hours

Rotating Shift Pattern (Monday to Friday)

  • 06:00 - 14:00 Monday to Thursday & 06:00 – 11:30 Friday
  • 14:00 - 22:00 Monday to Thursday & 11:00 – 16:30 Friday

Enjoy your weekends free with no regular weekend working required.

Pay Rate

  • Starting from £14.15 per hour
  • Plus shift allowance
  • Overtime opportunities may be available

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous TIG welding experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience welding stainless steel and aluminium
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work accurately to tight tolerances
  • A strong commitment to quality and safety
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic
